Janelle Kincheloe started out working for Ron Cammack in 2014. Janelle and Jared Asumendi became partners and purchased the practice from Ron in 2018. She also earned her Enrolled Agent status in 2018. Janelle received her Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana, after graduating from Homedale High School. Janelle has celebrated 20 years of marriage and keeps busy raising 4 boys and a dog. Basketball season keeps her very active, watching all the games. During the summer she enjoys exploring Idaho and visiting with family.

Miri Gillihan joined our team in 2021 as a Tax Preparer at our Nampa office. With over 25 years of experience, Miri is highly educated in providing tax preparation services, payroll, bookkeeping, audits, collections, and responding to both federal and state tax notices. Miri entered the tax world in 1998 at Ada Tax Professionals. In 2009, she earned the status of Enrolled Agent. During the 20+ years working for Elke Gribskov, her mentor, Miri developed her passion for education and sharing her knowledge with others. Miri helped organize and currently serves as President of Idaho Association of Tax Consultants. Over the years, Miri has had the privilege of playing cribbage with Ron Cammack and sharing laughs with Sharon Brewster while watching all-day tax seminars on DVD. When not immersed in the world of taxes, Miri enjoys spending time with her family at their cabin in the woods.

Christy Carter is our Office, Payroll, & Bookkeeping Manager, she has been with Asumendi & Kincheloe since 2019. Her passion and knowledge to help our business clientele of all sizes continue to grow and prosper through education, training, guidance and customer service as well as always going above and beyond for all our clients is what makes Christy such an integral part of our team. Christy stays busy outside of work enjoying the Idaho outdoors, date nights with her husband, watching her sons play football, movie nights with her daughters, and spending time with family and friends.

Hermelinda Aguilar has been with Asumendi & Kincheloe since October of 2017. Hermelinda is the receptionist at our Sunnyslope office and also assists Janelle with Spanish speaking clients. She is fluent in both Spanish and English and has experience helping H2A workers understand their obligations. Hermelinda is a 2017 graduate of Treasure Valley Community College with an associate degree in business management and accounting which she feels is her biggest accomplishment. She was born in Texas, raised in Idaho and has lived in Owyhee and Canyon County most of her life. Hermelinda loves Idaho because of its beauty and its great outdoors, and she loves spending time with her family camping, hunting, and just hanging out making memories!

Lindy Sprague started with Asumendi & Kincheloe in 2022 as a Bookkeeping Specialist at our Sunnyslope office, bringing knowledge and experience in QuickBooks Desktop & Online. She has an associate degree in Secretarial Sciences from Blue Mt. Community College in Pendleton, OR where she grew up. Lindy has experience with ranching, forestry, trucking, photography, elder care, and medical. She moved to Idaho in 1984 and enjoys homesteading and herbs. In 1999 she got married and took a break to raise kids, cows, goats, and gardens.

Judy Talbot is excited to join the team at Asumendi & Kincheloe as a Payroll Specialist at our Sunnyslope office. She brings 25 years of bookkeeping experience after obtaining an associate degree in accounting in 1997. Judy may not be a true Idaho native, but after 20 years in the Caldwell area, feels it is home. She has kept busy raising 2 children and now enjoys playing with 3 grandchildren and 2 kitties.

Dena Perkes started with Asumendi & Kincheloe in 2023 as a Payroll & Bookkeeping Specialist in our Nampa office. Dena has an extensive background in banking as well as mortgage lending. She has lived and worked in Nampa since 2004 and loves being in this area. In her spare time, she enjoys anything that includes being in the mountains, attending her 2 grand kids’ sporting events, and hiking with her dog, Zeke.

Lavonda Elliot has been with Asumendi & Kincheloe since 2021 in our Nampa office. In that time, she gained experience as an Administrative Assistant, Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist. She is an all-around utility player for A&K and we are grateful to have her. Lavonda enjoys hanging out with friends and family as well as being with her enormous dog Daisy Duke.

Laurie Rowen is the Administrative Assistant for the Nampa office as well as the assistant to Jared. She has been with Asumendi & Kincheloe since 2020. Her experience in administration, bookkeeping, organization, and customer service has filled an intricate role for our team. Laurie grew up in Owyhee County, she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Hannah Noethe has been a full-time Tax Preparer in our Nampa office since 2020. She consults with individual clients, including those with farms and businesses. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and an Associate degree in Applied Mathematics from the College of Idaho. She is a member of the Idaho Association of Tax Consultants (IATC) and works hard to maintain her knowledge of recent tax changes. When Hannah is not working, you will likely find her enjoying a coffee, playing with her pups, or going fishing.

Kelly Livingstone is a Bookkeeping & Payroll Specialist in our Nampa office. She joined Asumendi & Kincheloe in 2023. Kelly is committed to ongoing learning and is currently pursuing a degree in accounting. When Kelly is not working, she is camping, hiking, rockhounding, and spending time with family and friends.

Mariela Barajas is an Administrative Assistant at our Nampa location, she joined our team in early 2024. Her eagerness and willingness to serve the A&K clients and staff as well as her bilingual skills make her a wonderful asset to the team. Mariela enjoys spending most of her time being with her family, grabbing a cup of coffee and raising her dog Gizmo.
